I remember all the way back to 2 years ago when Nancy Pelosi was raging that 5% unemployment was intolerable! Now, with the national rate at 9.5%, I guess we all know what she meant.
Here is a case for the rate getting to 14%...http://www.realclearmarkets.com/articles/2009/07/06/get_ready_for_14_percent_unemployment_97295.html
In short, the logic here is what I posted last week - that money that otherwise would be used for business investment (i.e., buying "stuff" and hiring people) would be used for tax compliance to pay for the goodies that Obama has already gotten (The stimulus to nowhere) - and for Christmas' yet to come (Cap and Trade, National Health Insurance).
We are at the breaking point. Should we say something - "hey aren't those Obama girls cute?" "Oh, wait., Sarah Palin's twittering..."
Now back to Andrea Mitchell for another objective report. Hey - where are those 150,000 "created or saved jobs ..."?
